Come and Volunteer at the Women's Centre

Volunteers come in to help most weekdays and occasional evenings. You could help with things like: internet research; archiving projects; help a woman type a summary of her case so that appropriate help can be sought; contact people who have called us out of hours; keep in touch with women who have been detained in Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre, to offer them support and info about their rights. Appropriate training and supervision is provided.

Call 020 7482 2496 or emailĀ  war@womenagainstrape.net for details.

SIGN OUR PETITION to stop the government refusing compensation to victims who have criminal convictions.

Victims of crime can get compensation from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA). Working closely with victims of rape and sexual assault, our campaign for fairer compensation has spelled out the main ways the CICA discriminates against rape victims. Some of our demands for change have been won.

Visit our Campaigns page for more info on this and other current and recent campaigns.
